Service Terms

1. Service model

PDF Shift Converter Utility provides customized B2B document processing as a one-time service. Customers do not receive SaaS, software, a dashboard, platform access or a subscription. We use our own workflow and tools to perform the purchased processing and deliver the resulting files electronically.

2. Customer intake

The customer must provide complete source files and clear instructions for the requested output. Order-specific submission instructions are provided after checkout or through support. The customer should identify required formats, fields, page order, naming rules, project grouping and any other instruction needed to understand the requested result.

3. Delivery start point and deadlines

The listed delivery period for a service begins only after both successful payment and receipt of the complete files and instructions needed for processing. Business days exclude weekends and generally observed holidays applicable to our operations. If the customer later changes instructions or supplies missing/replacement materials, the delivery schedule may restart or be adjusted to reflect the revised complete intake.

4. Service limits

File, page and project limits are maximums for a single purchased order. Pages are counted across all submitted files included in the order. Project or document-collection limits apply where shown. Work beyond those limits requires another service purchase or a separate written agreement before the extra work is performed.

5. Accepted and output formats

Applicable conversion services support PDF and DOCX. Other formats are processed only when they are listed for the service or confirmed for the order. Table and structured-data services may deliver XLSX or CSV where that output is supported for the submitted source and agreed instructions. Searchable-PDF services deliver searchable PDF output where OCR processing is technically viable.

6. OCR limitations

OCR converts visible scanned content into machine-readable text, but recognition accuracy depends on scan resolution, contrast, language, fonts, handwriting, skew, page damage, complex layouts and other source characteristics. A basic page review does not mean every recognized character or extracted value has been manually verified.

7. Extraction limitations

Table extraction and structured-data extraction are intended to organize visible information or customer-defined fields into a structured output. Unless a separate written agreement expressly includes full manual validation, the service does not represent that every extracted value has been independently verified for accuracy against the source.

8. Output review by the customer

The customer is responsible for reviewing delivered files before using them for legal, financial, regulatory, compliance, contractual, customer-facing or other material decisions. If an issue falls within the purchased scope, contact us during the 30-day support period with the affected file and a clear description of the issue.

9. Electronic delivery

Completed outputs are delivered electronically using email, secure link, file-transfer method or another electronic method stated for the order. No physical media or physical documents are shipped unless separately agreed in writing.

10. 30-day support

Support is available for 30 calendar days after electronic delivery. It covers questions and reasonable in-scope correction related to the delivered order. It does not extend the original capacity limits or include new source documents, new projects, materially new instructions or additional processing categories.

11. Ownership and confidentiality

The customer retains its rights in submitted documents and data. We use those materials only as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased service, support the order, protect service security and comply with legal obligations. Customer documents are not sold and are not authorized for unrelated use.

12. Extra work

Additional volume, unsupported formats, complex manual reconstruction, full manual verification, new extraction fields, new project collections, material instruction changes or other work beyond the purchased scope is performed only after a separate purchase or written agreement.
